| Abstract | This dataset provides comprehensive observational data on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the surface seawater and sea ice of the southern Okhotsk Sea from 2017 to 2023, which is compiled in supplementary data Table S1 of the associated published paper (Mundo et al., 2026, DOI: 10.1016/j.marpolbul.2026.119907). It quantifies the concentrations of 13 targeted 3–6 ring PAHs—including acenaphthene (Ace), fluorene (Fle), anthracene (Ant), fluoranthene (Flu), pyrene (Pyr), benz(a)anthracene (BaA), chrysene (Chr), benzo(b)fluoranthene (BbF), benzo(k)fluoranthene (BkF), benzo(a)pyrene (BaP), dibenzo(ah)anthracene (DBA), benzo(ghi)perylene (BPe), and indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyrene (IDP)—in both dissolved (Σ13PAHdiss) and particulate (Σ13PAHpart) phases determined via a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system with a fluorescence detector, alongside their respective analytical error percentages. Concurrent physicochemical and biological parameters are also provided, including water temperature, salinity, chlorophyll-a concentrations, and nutrients (NO3, PO4, and SiO2). | |
